The document, submitted with the company&#8217;s letterhead, should specify :  <em>the full name of the person you spoke with<\/em> <em>full company details<\/em> <em>a precise assessment of the number of boxes to be moved<\/em> <em>details of the size and value of the items to be moved<\/em> <em>hourly rate or lump sum for the move<\/em> <em>payment terms<\/em> <em>dates of services to be provided<\/em> <em>in the case of a local move, the approximate number of hours<\/em><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ask your employer for time off for moving day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register children at their new school or daycare center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report your change of address to :\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Poste Canada <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minist\u00e8re du Revenu du Qu\u00e9bec <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agence du revenu du Canada <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>R\u00e9gie de l&#8217;assurance-maladie <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Institution(s) financi\u00e8re(s) et de cr\u00e9dit <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gaz M\u00e9tropolitain <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Telephony &#8211; Internet &#8211; Cable provider <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Home and auto insurance company <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accountant or notary Employer <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Camelot <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Family and friends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have your mail forwarded to your next home for the first 6 months by Canada Post, so you don&#8217;t have to rely on the kindness (or lack thereof) of your future tenant&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1 month before<\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make a list of what you want to move and what you don&#8217;t.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sell or donate what no longer suits you. You&#8217;ll be able to better estimate the volume of truck you&#8217;ll need.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find boxes; some grocery stores give them to people who ask for them &#8211; some big-box stores offer them for $1 or $2 a box.
